Harry potter and the Philosophers stone is a good book because sometimes it just leaps out and tries to scare you. It doesn’t really scare me but that is kind of what I like about it. My favorite character is hermione because she is rather like me and she was kind of bossy but nice at the same time.harry thinks proffecer snape is trieing to steal the stone for voldermort but it is actually proffecer quivler. Evry one wants the stone because it makes you live forever.Hagrid found a man in a pub who challenged him to a game of cards Hagrid won and the man gave him an illegal dragons egg. The man Hagrid was playing cards with was voldermort and he made hagrid drunk so that hagrid would tell him how to get past the stone.
